Atal Setu shortens the drive only to coastal Raigad — Uran, Pen, Alibaug and Shrivardhan via NH-66 — not to Karjat or Khopoli, which sit on different infrastructure.
Atal Setu cut the Mumbai–Upper Alibaug drive to about 2 hours, but the two corridor projects that would truly open the belt are still under construction into 2028.
